Collaborate with a Service-Learning Course

The Community-Engaged Teaching and Research (CETR) team at NU provides partner organizations the opportunity to collaborate with a service-learning course or partner on a community-engaged research project.  In order to collect community-identified goals, research questions, and volunteer requests for each semester, the CETR team runs a Request for Partnerships process, which you can learn more about here.

Hire A Northeastern University Student

NUworks is Northeastern University’s career management portal for sharing career, cooperative education (co-op), internship, and XN opportunities with current students at all levels, including PhDs as well as recent alumni. Local nonprofits can set up a NUworks account and post paid part- or full-time opportunities.

  

Preserve Your Organization’s History

Northeastern Archives and Special Collection department is part of the Northeastern University Library. In addition to documenting the history of the University, the Archives and Special Collections also preserves and makes available the records of private, nonprofit, and community-based organizations that document diverse and under-documented populations. Learn more here.

Reserve Space/Host an Event on Campus

City & Community Engagement manages the free Northeastern Crossing space, which is bookable by community members and local nonprofit organizations. Learn more and book here.

Scholarship Information

There are a set of scholarships specifically geared toward students from Boston. Learn more about the Boston Scholarships here.

The Torch Scholarship is available for up to 15 students annually, and typically includes several Boston-area students. This scholarship is designed for first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds. Learn more here.
